Q: What is wrong with her?

A: Read on gentle visitor.....

Summary: Li-Frumeni syndrome with a strong family history of breast cancer. Carcinoma of the breast at age 25 (January 2000) which was 12 mm, Grade II, node negative, invasive ductal carcinoma and was oestrogen and progesterone receptor negative. Treated with four cycles of Adriamycin and Cyclophosphamide adjuvant chemotherapy followed by local radiotherapy.

January 2004 relapsed with multiple liver metastases. Liver metastases strongly ER and PR positive. Also CerbB2 positive (3+). Started Herceptin and Tamoxifen February 2004. Good partial response on CT scan after three cycles (nine weeks).

Relapsed with two new liver metastese June 2005. Chemotherapy with Taxol and Herceptin July 2005 to January 2006. Radiofrequency ablation to liver lesions. Repeat CT scan February 2006 showed no evidence of the disease. Continues on single agent Herceptin February 2006.

Relapse June 2006 with two liver metastases, one in the right lobe and one in the left. Repeat scans show complete ablation.

Further relapse in October, two more liver metastases, left side, abalation again. Aditional tumour in T4 Verebra currently being treated with 22 treatments of radiotherapy.

.....well you did ask, now if you want to know more you can go and look up Li-Frumeni syndrome on the internet - but remember the first rule of internet searches, the news is always BAD!.

Q: I think that your website is really groovy and that you have a good writing style, would you like a job?

A: Yes I would actually, my usual work has dried up and it is getting a bit boring hanging around the house all the time. I am available for any writing work, reviews, sly, sarcastic prowse and alike - I am particually good at 'best man's' speach writing; you list out what you want to say and I will knock it into shape for you. Speaking of weddings, I do a nice line in bespoke wedding invitations, more contemporary than traditional you understand.

I take pictures, << see here >> , web design, obviously, I am set up for video editing, VHS (US/UK) conversion and DVD production. Oh and I can also make picture frames for you.

Oddly this stuff doesn't bring in as much money as the day job used to, so if you are in need of someone who has 10 years application support experience in financial institutions (all in the city) and they will accept a contractor and not perm, they send them my way please.

Actually if you need an old school "fixer" (not in the gangster sense I might add) or just someone to organise stuff for you, give me a call too.
