Tao in May
A short one this month, Tash has some information at the end of the post about the developments with this new treatment. But first she would like to tell you about our recent trips abroad.

Tash Calling....
For those of you outside the UK, you probably aren't aware that May is a pretty good month over here in terms of long weekends, as this is when 2 of our 3 annual bank holidays fall.
Working in banking actually means that I don't usually get bank holiday's off so it isn't usually that exciting. That being said, I did manage to get away twice this month and very pleasant both occasions were too.
First trip was to Verona to visit my Italian family "The Bortesi's". The twins, Laura and Francesca have exciting things going on this year. When I visited, Laura was 1 month away from the expected arrival of her little girl and Francesca was just under 4 months from her "big day", so it seemed like a good time for me to visit and spend time with them both before things really heat up!
The weekend was spent catching up, eating, drinking, taking in the sun... all the nice things that you think of when you think of Italy.... Pier, Laura's husband showed off his BBQ'ing skills on the Saturday evening, so good were his ribs, in fact, that I think he would give Kabonosi Ken a run for his money.
Sunday was spent on the Montorio "quot;Magnalonga". Montorio being the village closest to where the Bortesi family house is. Magnalonga kind of means, long eat.... Basically, it was a walk of 8 kilometres through the local vineyards and olive groves and at each kilometre there was a food/wine stop where you would have a taste of some local dish, and matching local wine. What better way to exercise?
It was an unexpected scorcher of a day which took everyone by surprise, having only taken jeans over, I had an array of things ushered into my room by a concerned gaggle of Bortesi's that morning. We eventually set off for our 11.15 start. It wasn't long before the heat and the wine started slowing us down however we naturally made it to each stop and finished around 4.30pm. It was a really fantastic way to spend a nice sunny Sunday.

Last weekend we were up in Scotland. I caught the train up to Edinburgh after work on Friday as Mark was already up there having spent a couple of nights with his friend in Glasgow. We stayed with our friends Graham, Lindsay and their little girl Robyn. They moved up there from London earlier this year so it was great to see them and their lovely new place.
