Francesca and Ali's Wedding Verona September 2007
This is Lorenzo, Natasha's host father in Italy. He was very proud and happy that day, the second of his daughters was getting married and I just really like this shot of them together. Tash tried to go to see them as often as possible and would mostly succeed in dragging me along, I love them all, the Verona crowd, but have trouble with the male on male kissing when we first get there. This used to amuse Tash, Laura and 'Cesa and confuse Piero and the boys, as showing physical affection is such a normal thing for them, but for this stand offish Englishman, it takes about six hours and two beers to get into the spirit.
Interestingly, now I am writing about them, I realise that the verve and zest for life that so many of you have commented on that Tash had is very much reflected in the Italian way of life.
